Type E Lamppost Approved on February 11, 1913 by The Art Commission of the City of New York. Utilized in city parks and city streets such as upper Park Avenue in Manhattan. Served by: The Brooklyn Edison Company, The New York Edison Company, Queens Electric Light and Power Company and United Electric Light and Power Company. Location on this lamppost: Silver Lake Park near Silver Lake Park Road and Victory Boulevard in Staten Island. The Type E Lamppost has the same base and lower shaft design as the Type F and G Lampposts and it is unknown whether or not if Henry Bacon, Architect was the designer. Note that the luminaire on this lamppost has been replaced.
